Position Overview:

The Department of Sociology (www.boisestate.edu/sociology/) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 2020. Preference will be given to applicants who specialize in areas related to ethnic and racial studies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Normal position responsibilities include a 3/3 teaching load while maintaining an active and productive research agenda. The first year of teaching will be a 2/2 maximum load. We also offer mentoring and other resources to enable prosperous research and teaching activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include an earned Ph.D. degree in sociology, ethnic studies, or related fields and demonstrated potential in teaching, research, and service.
