The Department of Sociology and Criminology at Gonzaga University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall semester 2020 (3/3 teaching load). We seek a colleague who specializes in race/ethnicity, immigration, social movements, law, or globalization. The successful applicant will teach upper division electives in subfields of interest, introductory courses, and one of the following: social theory (classical or contemporary), research methods, or statistics. Candidates must describe their fit with Gonzaga’s mission, and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an inclusive learning environment.
- Ph.D. in Sociology, or closely related field. ABD considered, with the expectation that the candidate will have degree in hand by August 1, 2020.
