1) How much does it cost? Includes four issues of the journal and the online newsletter.
Faculty (less than $30K income) $40
Faculty (income $30K to $70K) $50
Faculty (income over $70K) $60
2) When does the membership year begin and end? Membership is on a calendar basis, starting on Jan 1 and ending on Dec 1. If you join late, you can still become a member for the current year, but at this time we cannot provide back issues of the journal. If you join or rejoin after July 1, your membership will be for the following year unless you inform us that you want your membership to be for the current year.
3) What are the benefits of membership? The benefits of membership in the PSA include participation in the annual meeting, four copies of the PSA journal, Sociological Perspectives (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter), three electronic copies of the PSA newsletter, The Pacific Sociologist (January, May, and September), an opportunity for appointment and/or election to committees and offices and to vote in the affairs and governance of the association, and eligibility for awards and travel grants (for students) to the annual meeting.
