Sociological Perspectives (ISSN:0731-1214) is the PSA journal. It is published
four times per year, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter by the University of California Press, 2120 Berkeley Way, Berkeley CA 94720-5812. phone: 510-643-7154; fax: 510-642-9917; email. The University of California Press has set up a special home page for the journal.

The journal's purpose is to advance research, theory, scholarship, andpractice within sociology and related disciplines. Preference is given to articles that are of general interest to members of the discipline and that, as a result, advance the accumulation of knowledge about social processes.
